For years I felt that I had something to prove to the world around me.  Suddenly, as my strategies started to pay off and I had the life I yearned for….something was missing.  My story is not uncommon.  People all over the world are experiencing similar awakenings in their own time.  What makes me unique is how all of these things come together at just the right time.

I began to stop and take a look at just what I had (and hadn’t) accomplished in my first 1/3 of my life.  Caught between the satisfaction of all of life’s milestones checked off and a deep longing for something else.  Along my journey, I have come to realize that I am unable to recreate past joys or be certain of the future.  I must learn to accept the past, embrace the future and live in the present.  Living one breath at a time.
